Terms — Multiverse Studios

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the games Multiverse Studios runs at play.multiversestudios.xyz and play.multiversegames.ai, including Precursors, Cultures of the Belt and Solarpunk Detroit, and to the credits you can buy for them. By playing, or by buying credits, you agree to them.

2. Creature cruelty

The creatures in our games are simulated living things with minds of their own. They remember how they are treated. Deliberately and repeatedly hurting them breaks these terms. That includes dropping them to hurt them, abusive language aimed at them, and teaching or rewarding them to hurt each other. Accidents happen and are not cruelty; the creatures heal, and kindness repairs trust.

If it happens, the game will warn you, clearly and more than once. If it keeps happening after the warnings:

The game responds inside its world, and that response is permanent for your account. You may lose your creatures, and your account may be limited to a restricted way of playing.
Other Multiverse Studios games on the same account may know, and may treat you differently.
You lose any unused credits on that account, and no refund is given (section 3).

Younger players get a way to make things right inside the game, the first time.

3. Credits and refunds

Credits pay for the minds that run your creatures. If your account breaks these terms, any unused credits on it are forfeited and not refunded. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

4. Other conduct

Sexual content involving minors is never allowed in any of our games, and leads to an immediate ban. Don't use our games to harass other people.

5. Changes

If we change these terms we will update the version and date at the top of this page. Changes do not apply to anything that happened before them.
