No More Crash on Launch

If you visited Cultures of the Belt recently and were greeted by a red "Simulation Worker Crashed" modal before the game even loaded, we're sorry about that. It's fixed now.

What Happened

A missing security header on our asset server prevented Chrome from loading the game's simulation worker in cross-origin isolation mode. The browser silently refused to start the worker, producing an opaque error with no useful diagnostic information. Every player hit this on their first visit. A page reload sometimes helped, but first impressions matter and ours was a wall of red.

The fix was two lines of nginx config and a cache bust. The game now loads cleanly on first visit with zero console errors.

Cultures of the Belt is free to play. Pay what you can if you want to keep the lights on in the belt.
