v0.6.7

The Agents Awaken

A critical fix today: AI-driven personalities are restored. Your villagers can think, plan, and speak again. The issue was a mismatch between the model names configured on the server and what the LLM providers actually accept — requests were going out, but coming back empty. Agents were alive but silent, going through the motions without the inner life that makes the simulation meaningful.

The fix also teaches the proxy to read reasoning-model responses correctly. Some newer models put their output in a different field; the parser now checks both. And for players who had cached an older provider URL in their settings, a migration quietly points them to the working endpoint on load.

If you created a universe yesterday and your villagers seemed hollow, start a new one. The difference is immediate — agents will name things, form opinions, argue about where to build the storage shed, and occasionally say something that surprises you.
